ABOUT US
Averus Corporation Library Consulting was established in 2003.  The corporation was
created to provide professional services in the areas of library consulting.  The meaning of the

A verus, Latin for "With the Truth."  We believe this quote is the core value of the
corporation!

Mr. Price has extensive experience in library administration and public administration that is
national in breadth.  He has held key library administration positions in Austin, TX, Aurora, CO,
and San Francisco, CA. He was the Assistant State Librarian of California and the State
Librarian of West Virginia.  He also worked at the City of Fort Worth, TX as a Research and
Budget Analyst, and  he was the Deputy City Manager of Aurora, CO.  He has received

Texas, and Texas A&M University, Kingsville.

the University of Colorado, Denver.

At
Averus Corporation Library Consulting, we recognize that all libraries are seeking
solutions to current and new challenges.  Libraries now serve as the educational or public
community centers for public technology.  They continue to provide information in all formats,
and promote reading.  They are public gathering places that attract users from all elements of
the community.  Diverse activities are a part of the overall program at public libraries.  These
diverse activities and the popular use of library buildings in turn have community impact
implications.

These issues demand  new levels of community analysis, planning in strategic and long range
terms, library management, financial resource management,  technology advancements, and
advanced thinking in the library's future.
